Biography
The Prague Wind Octet started its artistic career in 1996 and quickly became established at both Czech and foreign platforms.
The members are international music competition laureates /ARD Munich, Sony Music Foundation, Prague Spring, Concertino Praga /
In 1997, the Prague Wind Octet gave a live concert to order of the BBC, under the name The Noble Lounge Music, which was well received both by listeners and reviewers.
The ensemble has been invited to many music festivals /e.g. Dresden Music Festival, Hohenloher Kultursommer/ and regularly records for the Czech Radio.
The members also teach their instruments.
The music critique points out individual players’ technical virtuosity, colour plasticity and most of all the clarity of style with the compositions performed.
